Nevada men’s basketball team recently hosted transfer Tayshawn Comer on a recruiting visit, reported by 24/7 High School Hoops. Comer, a 6-foot-1 combo guard, has also received interest from Iowa, Indiana, Georgia Tech, Dayton, Wichita State, and Duquesne. With one year of eligibility left, Comer has had a successful college career, averaging 16.2 points, 4.1 assists, and 3.7 rebounds per game at Evansville last season. He has scored over 1,000 points in 100 games at the Division I level and was named second team All-Missouri Valley.
A three-star recruit out of high school, Comer excelled at Cathedral High, winning Indianapolis City Player of the Year and earning all-state honors. If he commits to Nevada, Comer would join Tyler Rolison in the backcourt. Nevada has one transfer commitment so far and has up to eight scholarship spots available for transfers. With Comer’s impressive stats and experience, he could be a valuable addition to the Wolf Pack team for the 2025-26 season.
