Nevada track and field athletes showcased their talents at three Bay Area meets over the weekend, with standout performances from several team members. Meekness Dogonyaro shined in the Triple Jump, setting a new personal best and claiming the second-best jump in Nevada school history. The team also had multiple athletes enter the top-ten all-time lists in their respective events.
At the Mike Fanelli Track Classic, Kylee Denver and Mary DeMartini represented Nevada in the 800m race. Meanwhile, at the Stanford Invitational, Isabelle Steerman stood out in the Javelin event. The bulk of Nevada’s events took place at the Brutus Hamilton Invitational, where the team displayed impressive performances in various events such as Long Jump, Pole Vault, High Jump, 5000m, and relays.
