In a recent episode of Celebrity Big Brother, actor Mickey Rourke was removed from the house after exhibiting inappropriate behavior towards his fellow housemates. Rourke, 72, had faced controversy since his entrance into the house, including making homophobic comments towards housemate JoJo Siwa. He was ultimately thrown off the show for “inappropriate sexual language” aimed at another housemate, as well as “threatening and aggressive” behavior towards Chris Hughes.
Rourke grew irate when Hughes, in character as a pirate for a shopping task, “eyeballed” him, leading to a confrontation between the two. Rourke later apologized for his actions, admitting he was “ashamed” of his behavior. Despite his apologies, evicted housemate Michael Fabricant revealed that the worst of Rourke’s comments were not even broadcast.
The episode also saw Trisha Goddard being evicted from the house after receiving the fewest public votes. JoJo Siwa opened up about her gender identity in the diary room, discussing her identification with non-binary individuals.
