Nevada men’s basketball welcomes new assistant coach Lo Leath, who joins from Utah

Nevada men’s basketball team has added assistant coach Lo Leath, previously with Utah. Before Utah, he was at Sacramento State and worked with Oakland Soldiers AAU team for 10 years. 11 players under Leath reached the NBA or G League. He created multiple Soldiers chapters, including Lady Soldiers. Leath is a Sac State Hall of Famer and played professionally in Europe. Kyle Guy was also recently added to head coach Steve Alford’s staff. Leath is excited to join Nevada and work with Alford. Alford praised Leath’s energy, recruiting ties, and player development skills. Leath’s cousin, Kevinn Pinkney, is a Nevada alum in the Hall of Fame. Leath is excited to help Nevada’s tradition and culture thrive. The NCAA previously increased allowable assistant coaches to five. Leath is honored to be part of the Wolf Pack family and looks forward to helping players grow both on and off the court under Alford’s leadership.
