Starting Sunday, there will be overnight lane reductions on Interstate 580 from Meadowood Mall to the South Virginia Street exit 29 in Carson City, Nevada. The Nevada Department of Transportation will be repairing sections of a concrete barrier rail, resulting in lane reductions in both directions from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. Sunday through Friday until early May. During the day, there will be roadside shoulder closures in place. Motorists are advised to plan for extra travel time to reach their destinations.
