Stars Casino at 3170 Naglee Road in Tracy recently hosted its Inaugural Easter Hop Charity Poker Tournament to raise money for local family shelters. The event featured celebrity guests such as former Raiders wide receiver Mervyn Fernandez, former Sacramento Kings player Olden Polynice, former NFL players Larry Bates and actor Quinton Aaron.
The public was invited to participate in the day-long poker tournament, with guests who brought Easter basket donations receiving a raffle ticket. All proceeds from the tournament and the donated baskets went to McHenry House Family Shelter and Abode Services, two organizations that support families in need in the Tracy area.
The event was a big success, with participants enjoying a day of poker, raffles, and the chance to mingle with celebrity guests. Stars Casino was proud to host an event that not only provided entertainment, but also raised funds for a good cause.
