Carson Tahoe Health’s Human Resources experts will be hosting the “Enhancing Career Success” seminar at Western Nevada College’s Career Services on April 16th. The interactive seminar is open to students and job seekers, offering insights on resume building, communication skills, and building a professional brand. Space is limited, and registration is required by April 11th.
In other news, the WNC Foundation will be hosting the eighth annual Reach for the Stars Gala on August 2nd, with this year’s theme being Fire & Ice. Sponsorship opportunities are available for businesses and individuals to support education and community enrichment. Tickets for the event are on sale, offering an evening of passion and sophistication in support of education.
Additionally, WNC recently participated in Rural Day at the Legislature, showcasing rural community colleges, and the Student Art show will be on display at Bristlecone Gallery starting April 21st. The Child Development Center at WNC raised over $1,000 for St. Jude during their Trike-A-Thon event.
