According to Taaren Haak, Marketing Manager for MATBUS, the live bus tracker can help riders plan their time better by showing them how close the bus is to their stop. This feature can be particularly useful during severe weather conditions or extreme temperatures, allowing riders to wait indoors until the bus is nearby. MATBUS plans to introduce a number to dial or text later this summer, which will provide live updates on buses at various locations around town.
