Former “Bachelor” star Sean Lowe recently shared the difficult decision to surrender his family’s rescue dog, Moose, after two separate attacks that left him in the emergency room. The first attack occurred after a smoke alarm went off in the house, triggering Moose’s aggressive behavior. Lowe tried to diffuse the situation but Moose turned on him, causing severe injuries to his arm. Despite seeking medical attention and receiving stitches, Lowe was still struggling to come to terms with what had happened. The family decided it was not safe to keep Moose in a home with children and began the process of finding him a new home. However, Moose attacked Lowe again, leaving him fearing for his life. The family ultimately called the police and Lowe required additional stitches on his other arm. In a video shared on Instagram, Lowe showed his injuries and explained that Moose had likely experienced trauma before they adopted him, leading to his violent behavior. While Lowe and his family miss Moose, they understand the importance of prioritizing safety. Lowe hopes that by sharing their story, fans can understand the difficult decision they had to make regarding their beloved pet.
