The recent fiscal year 2024 saw the Wolf Pack’s total ticket sales amount to $8,181,002, the highest since fiscal year 2020. This revenue source ranked first among self-supporting revenue streams, followed by donations, media rights, royalties and sponsorships, game guarantees, and NCAA distribution. While Nebraska football has struggled to increase ticket sales due to selling out premium seating options, the completion of the Grand Sierra Resort arena is expected to provide a boost in revenue potential for men’s basketball ticket sales.
Overall, the Nevada men’s basketball program remains a key driver in ticket revenue for the Wolf Pack athletic department, showcasing the team’s ability to draw in fans and generate consistent revenue. Increasing ticket sales, particularly in football, is seen as a pathway for the program to more regularly turn a profit and improve its financial standing.
