The Nevada women’s basketball team’s season came to an end after falling to Boise State, 54-48, in the first round of the Mountain West tournament. Despite leading early on, Nevada struggled to maintain its momentum against the Broncos. Lexie Givens led the Wolf Pack with 13 points and 10 rebounds, while Tatum Thompson led all scorers with 14 points for Boise State. A costly turnover in the final minutes sealed Nevada’s fate. Head coach Amanda Levens expressed disappointment in the missed opportunity. This loss marks the end of the season for Nevada, finishing with an 11-21 record overall. The team has not advanced past the quarterfinals of the Mountain West tournament since 2018. This year marks the second in the past three seasons where Nevada has accumulated 21 losses. Despite the disappointing end to their season, the Wolf Pack will look to regroup and come back stronger next year.
