Southern Nevada girls bowling team unveiled by Nevada Preps


The top high school bowlers in the Las Vegas area were recognized for their outstanding performances during the 2021 season. Hannah Baum from Del Sol, Calee Berry from Coronado, Desirae Hunt from Desert Oasis, Wing Yiu Lee from Palo Verde, and Sophia Medellin from Liberty were named to the first team for their impressive averages and state tournament performances. Coach Nicholas Elefantis of Coronado was named Coach of the Year for leading the Cougars to the 5A team state title.

On the second team were Kayla Couch from Arbor View, Noel Gregorich from Clark, Jordynn Hernandez from Shadow Ridge, Jessica Read from Palo Verde, and Cayla Sylvain from The Meadows. Additionally, several bowlers received honorable mentions for their achievements throughout the season.

The recognition of these talented student-athletes highlights the growing popularity and success of high school bowling in the Las Vegas area. Congratulations to all the bowlers who were recognized for their hard work and dedication to the sport.
