Nevada Men’s Basketball suffered a tough 80-61 loss to San Diego State in their final regular-season road game. Despite a strong second-half effort led by Tyler Rolison and Nick Davidson, the Wolf Pack couldn’t overcome the Aztecs’ early lead. San Diego State capitalized on Nevada’s slow start, shooting an impressive 60% from the field in the first half and building a significant lead by halftime. However, the Pack fought back in the second half, with Rolison scoring 14 of his 19 points after the break and Davidson adding crucial points to reduce the deficit. Despite their efforts, San Diego State’s balanced attack led by Miles Heide and Pharaoh Compton proved too much for Nevada to handle. The defeat sets Nevada up for a rematch against Fresno State in the Credit Union 1 2025 Mountain West Men’s Basketball Championship. The Pack will look to bounce back and secure a crucial victory in the tournament.
