LAS VEGAS, Nev. (Nevada Athletics) – The 2025 Credit Union 1 Mountain West Basketball Championships will begin this weekend with the Nevada women’s basketball team facing off against Boise State on Sunday at 2 PM. The Pack are seeded at #9, while the Broncos are just above them at #8.
In their previous matchups this season, Boise State won the first game while Nevada won the second. Lexie Givens and Audrey Roden were key players for Nevada in their victories. Mya Hansen and Tatum Thompson led the scoring for Boise State in the games.
Both teams closed out their regular seasons with games against Utah State, with Nevada falling 93-75 and Boise State winning 72-59. Givens and Dymonique Maxie were standout players for Nevada, while Natalie Pasco and Thompson shone for Boise State.
Sunday’s game will kick off the tournament at the Thomas and Mack Center in Las Vegas. Tip-off is scheduled for 2 PM. Fans can expect an exciting matchup between these two competitive teams.
