The Red Cross of Northern Nevada will be hosting a blood drive event on March 26 as part of Red Cross Giving Day. The event will take place from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at 4750 Longley Lane, with additional drives in Winnemucca, Stateline, and TMCC. Bridget Posson, Executive Director for the American Red Cross Northern Nevada Chapter, emphasized the critical need for blood donations, stating that giving blood has the potential to save many lives. She highlighted the constant demand for blood and the difference it can make in the lives of community members. Posson expressed gratitude for blood donors, emphasizing the significant impact they have in helping friends, family, coworkers, and neighbors. Every unit of blood donated can truly save a life. Volunteers are encouraged to participate in the upcoming blood drive event to help meet the ongoing need for blood donations in the community and across the country.
