Nevada skiers competed in the REMISA Giant Slalom qualifiers at the Spencer F. Eccles Olympic Mountain Center ahead of the Utah Invitational. Although team scores were not kept, individual results were important for NCAA qualification. Iver Walday Naess and Isaac Mozen finished 18th and 19th on the men’s side, while Georgie Sullivan led the women with a 24th place finish. The team is set to compete in the Giant Slalom portion of the Utah Invitational on Sunday. The women’s team also saw Zali Sutton and Elle Murphy finish in 25th and 30th place, respectively, while Jessica Blackburn and Charlotte Clément did not finish. Among the men, Ulrik Danielsen, Jeger Halbjoerhus, Jules Baur, Ryan Herhusky, Engebret Halbjoerhus, and David Morken also competed, with varying results. The Nevada skiers are gearing up for more competition as they aim to secure their spots in the NCAA qualifications.
