Nevada Softball kicked off its season with two wins on Friday, defeating Army 4-1 and Lehigh 14-4 in Los Angeles. Ainsley Berlingeri made an impressive collegiate debut with 11 strikeouts against Army, while Haley Painter’s home run and clutch hits from Saige Alfaro and Matlyn Leetch secured the win. In the second game against Lehigh, the Pack’s offense exploded in the fourth inning, with Lexi O’Gorman, Madison Clark, and Haley Painter leading the charge.
