Nevada Softball under new Head Coach Victoria Hayward is set to kick off its 2025 season this weekend with five games in Southern California. The team will play in Los Angeles on Friday and Sunday, with a Saturday trip to Irvine. The Wolf Pack returns key starters including All-Mountain West and NFCA All-Region honoree Aaliyah Jenkins. The team will also feature sisters Madison and Bailie Clark in starting roles for the first time.
Despite losing 11 seniors, Nevada has a strong roster with young talent ready to step up. The Pack has also added three right-handed pitchers through the transfer portal. The team will face tough opponents like No. 6 UCLA during the season.
The Wolf Pack will play Army and Lehigh in Los Angeles on Friday, California Baptist and UCLA in Irvine on Saturday, and wrap up the weekend against LMU in Los Angeles on Sunday. Nevada will spend seven straight weeks on the road before starting conference play in Boise. The team’s home opener is scheduled for March 25.
