Nevada women’s basketball notched an impressive 69-61 victory over Boise State on Wednesday night, led by standout performances from Lexie Givens and Audrey Roden. Givens tallied 20 points, six rebounds, and three assists, while Roden contributed a double-double with 16 points, 12 rebounds, and six assists. Tori Davis added 10 points for the Wolf Pack.
Although Nevada struggled with turnovers in the first half, they managed to rally in the third quarter to trim the Broncos’ lead. Givens and Roden played key roles in the comeback, with Givens scoring 10 points in the fourth quarter alone. The Pack went on a 7-0 run late in the game to secure the win.
With this victory, Nevada improves to 10-14 overall and 5-6 in the Mountain West conference, while Boise State falls to 15-9 overall and 5-6 in the Mountain West. The Wolf Pack will look to carry this momentum into their next game against San Jose State on February 8th.
