Tommy Williams, the standout athlete from Incline High School, has officially signed with the University of Nevada football team for the 2025 season. Despite playing in the Class 2A division, Williams has proven himself as a top athlete, leading the Highlanders to the state title game in both football and basketball.
In basketball, Williams is the school’s all-time leading scorer with over 2,000 points and holds the state record for career steals in the 2A division. He has been named a three-time all-state basketball player and received all-state honors in football as well, being named the regional offensive player of the year in both sports. Additionally, Williams also excels in baseball.
As a quarterback, Williams has impressive stats, throwing for 4,187 yards and 53 touchdowns while rushing for 1,797 yards and 33 scores over his varsity career. Nevada discovered Williams through a local high school recruiting camp and recruited him under the leadership of head coach Jeff Choate.
Coach Choate praised Williams for his winning attitude, calling him a “winner” with an infectious personality and a bright future at Nevada. Williams’ potential was showcased in a recent mic’d up segment by Nevada Sports Net, highlighting his skills and leadership on the field.
With his signing to the University of Nevada football team, Tommy Williams is set to make a significant impact on the program and continue his athletic success at the collegiate level.
