Beyoncé announced a new tour named the “Cowboy Carter Tour 2025” on social media and updated her website with the same graphics. The announcement came after she postponed an event due to the California wildfires and donated $2.5 million to support families affected by the fires. Beyoncé first performed songs from her album “Cowboy Carter” during the halftime show of a football game on Christmas Day, which was also streamed on Netflix as a special. Netflix recently added a reference to Beyoncé’s album in a post and Beyoncé’s label responded, hinting at the upcoming tour. Beyoncé’s previous tour announcement coincided with Black History Month, similar to this one. The album “Cowboy Carter” has been nominated for 11 Grammy Awards, including album of the year, with the lead single “Texas Hold ‘Em” achieving double platinum status. The album topped both the Billboard Hot 200 chart and the Top Country Albums chart, making Beyoncé the first Black woman to lead the country album list. This new tour marks Beyoncé’s eighth consecutive studio album to reach No. 1 on the Billboard chart.
