Local law enforcement in Grass Valley and Nevada City were kept busy with a variety of incidents reported recently. Grass Valley Police Department responded to a break-in at a cabin, a missing cat, and vandalism on the sidewalk, amongst other incidents. Nevada City Police Department dealt with a woman screaming at pedestrians and gunshots reported on Gracie Road. The Nevada County Sheriff’s Office responded to a car accident, a dead bat found on a property, and threats made towards a dog by a neighbor. Additionally, theft of laundry and vandalism to a work truck were also reported in the area. These incidents highlight the diverse range of calls law enforcement officers respond to on a daily basis to ensure the safety and security of the community. Residents are encouraged to report any suspicious activity or concerns to their local police department to help keep their neighborhoods safe.
