Joel Bitonio, former Nevada football player, earns his seventh consecutive Pro Bowl selection

Cleveland Browns left guard Joel Bitonio has been selected as an alternate for his seventh consecutive Pro Bowl, replacing Kansas City Chiefs guard Joe Thuney. Bitonio, a Nevada Wolf Pack alum, has been a standout player in the NFL for over a decade and is now fourth in Browns history for most Pro Bowl selections. Only LT Joe Thomas, RB Jim Brown, and T/K Lou Groza have more Pro Bowl appearances for the Browns. Bitonio started all 17 games this season and has played in a total of 161 career regular games, ranking 13th all-time by a Brown. The Pro Bowl will take place on Sunday in Orlando, with the AFC facing off against the NFC. Fans can catch all the action on ESPN and ABC from noon to 3 p.m. Bitonio’s consistent performance and longevity in the league have solidified his place among the best guards in the NFL, and his Pro Bowl selection is a testament to his skill and dedication to the game.
