Nevada recently went red for the first time in 20 years, raising questions about what Donald Trump’s second presidential term will look like in the Silver State. These questions were answered in a recent episode of Purple Politics Nevada hosted by KUNR editor Vicki Adame. The episode featured political reporter Lucia Starbuck, senior correspondent Bert Johnson, and KNPR political reporter Paul Boger.
One of the key topics discussed was the impact of Trump’s second term on public lands, immigration, and education in Nevada. The panelists explored the reasons behind Nevada’s purple status, where the state swings between Democratic and Republican control.
