University of Nevada Unveils First Holiday Ornament to Celebrate 150 Years of Excellence
The University of Nevada is excited to announce the launch of a new holiday tradition with the release of its inaugural 2024 Nevada Holiday Ornament, commemorating the sesquicentennial of the University. This special ornament, which features the commemorative logo marking 150 years of campus heritage, encourages the Wolf Pack Family to start a cherished collection that embodies the spirit and memories of Nevada each holiday season.
University President Brian Sandoval expressed his pride in this new tradition, stating, “Starting this tradition fills me with great pride as it offers The Wolf Pack Family a cherished keepsake that symbolizes 150 years of excellence here at the University. This institution connects all of us through a silver thread, and this ornament is a physical realization of our connection."
Priced at under $10, the ornament is available for purchase at the Wolf Shop and online. This marks the first holiday ornament designed and distributed by the University, and a portion of all sales proceeds will benefit the Associated Students of the University of Nevada (ASUN), which helps support student initiatives.
The University is committed to continuing this holiday tradition, with plans to unveil a unique ornament each year, allowing the Wolf Pack Family to create lasting memories and celebrate their connection to the institution.
