High school football fans are gearing up for an exciting end to the season as the matchups for all seven state championship games have been set. The title games will be held in various locations, with Allegiant Stadium hosting four on November 26th. One of the highlights is the Class 5A Division I crown matchup between Bishop Gorman and Arbor View. Arbor View made program history by reaching their first state title game after a 37-21 win over Coronado.
Bishop Gorman, seeking their fourth straight state title, also secured a spot in the championship game with a dominant 49-3 victory over Liberty. Despite their success, Arbor View coach Marlon Barnett is reminding his team to stay focused and not be content with just reaching the final. Gorman’s powerful offense, led by quarterback Maika Eugenio, will be a force to be reckoned with.
The other state title games will be held in Reno and Bishop Gorman before culminating at Allegiant Stadium. Centennial, Faith Lutheran, and Mojave will also be competing for their first football state titles. With impressive performances throughout the season, the stage is set for an intense and thrilling conclusion to the high school football season.
