Nevada Sports Net columnist Chris Murray, who is one of the 62 voters in the college basketball AP Top 25 poll, has revealed his latest ballot. Purdue has risen to No. 6 after an impressive start to the season, including a win over then-No. 2 Alabama. Kentucky also moved up to No. 5 after defeating Duke. Wisconsin, St. John’s, and Xavier are new additions to the rankings after key wins.
On the other hand, Arizona dropped to No. 20 after a loss to unranked Wisconsin, with their poor 3-point shooting being a significant factor. Ohio State, Wake Forest, and New Mexico fell off Murray’s ballot following losses. The top of the list remains consistent, with UConn holding onto the No. 1 spot, followed by Kansas and Gonzaga.
Murray’s AP Top 25 includes UConn, Kansas, Gonzaga, Auburn, Kentucky, and Purdue in the top six positions. Duke, Tennessee, North Carolina, and Creighton round out the top 10. The ballot reflects Murray’s assessment of the teams’ performances throughout the season so far.
