Nevada Men’s Basketball Scores Commitment from Big Man Ethan Croley
The Nevada men’s basketball team has bolstered its roster with a verbal commitment from 6-foot-9 big man Ethan Croley, as announced on his Instagram. Croley, 20, graduated high school in 2023 and is currently showcasing his skills with the Diamond Doves in Overtime Elite, a competitive league for young talents aged 16 to 20, based in Atlanta.
Croley’s performance in the opening games of the season has been impressive, averaging 20.5 points and 17.5 rebounds while shooting an efficient 50% from the field. In his limited action last season, he averaged 6.8 points and 6.5 rebounds in four games, highlighting his development in the Overtime Elite setup. Known for his potential, Croley was a senior standout at Clark High School in San Antonio, earning a unanimous all-district first-team selection despite being an unrated prospect upon high school graduation.
Following an official visit to Nevada last week, Croley quickly pledged his commitment to the Wolf Pack. His addition comes at a crucial time for Nevada, which has already announced two prep signees for its 2025 class: Peyton White and Blake Davidson, both from Southern California. As the Wolf Pack prepares for the upcoming season, they also face a transitional period, with seven players set to complete their college eligibility in the 2024-25 roster.
With the early-signing period for recruits now underway, Nevada aims to strengthen its program further, and Croley’s commitment is a significant step towards building a promising future for the team.
