Roseboro Public Library provides technology assistance and storytimes

The Roseboro Public Library, located at 300 W. Roseboro St., is a valuable asset to the community, offering a wide range of resources and programs for all ages. With a rich history dating back to the 1930s, the library has continuously adapted to meet the needs of the evolving community. Today, the library provides access to over 16,000 books, public Wi-Fi, computer access, and various online resources such as K-12 tutoring and job search help.

The library hosts events such as Story Time for children and their caregivers, as well as Digital Learning Sessions in collaboration with the N.C. Cooperative Extension-Sampson County Center. These sessions provide assistance with navigating the digital world and troubleshooting personal devices. The library is also a member of NC Cardinal, a consortium of public libraries across North Carolina, which allows patrons access to a wide range of materials beyond what is available locally.

Upcoming events at the Roseboro Public Library include a Story Time on Dec. 10 at 10:30 a.m. and a Digital Learning Session on Nov. 18 from 9 a.m. to noon. Community members are encouraged to take advantage of the resources and programs offered at the library, which has been a vital part of the Roseboro community for over 30 years.

For more information on the Roseboro Public Library, visit the town’s website and navigate to the library section. Residents are urged to visit the library, obtain a library card, and explore the many opportunities for learning and enjoyment that the library has to offer.
