Vice President Kamala Harris hosted a rally near Atlanta featuring former President Barack Obama and a performance by Bruce Springsteen as she makes her final push before Election Day. Harris acknowledged her early support for Obama and thanked him for his friendship and faith in her campaign. The decision to have Obama join Harris on the campaign trail is aimed at increasing voter enthusiasm, as Obama remains a popular figure who has won two presidential elections with over 50% of the vote. Harris and Obama also appeared together in Wisconsin this week. In addition to rallies, Obama is set to do interviews with podcasters and internet personalities who attract Black audiences. Former first lady Michelle Obama is expected to campaign with Harris in Michigan. Springsteen, who recently endorsed Harris, is among the celebrities supporting her campaign. Other stars, including Spike Lee and Samuel L. Jackson, also made appearances at the rally. Harris is set to host BeyoncĂ© at an event in Houston. The rally highlighted Harris’s efforts to mobilize support and enthusiasm in the final days leading up to the election.
