Nevada Sports Net recently released a list ranking the top-150 athletes in Nevada Wolf Pack history, focusing on numbers 20 through 11. The list highlights the incredible talent that has passed through the university’s athletic programs over the years.
Coming in at number 20 is defensive lineman DeShone Myles, who had an impressive career from 1993 to 1996, earning All-American honors in his senior year. He went on to play in the NFL for the Indianapolis Colts. At number 19 is basketball legend Edgar Jones, known for his scoring prowess and athleticism on the court.
In the number 18 spot is linebacker James-Michael Johnson, who was a defensive standout for the Wolf Pack football team from 2008 to 2011. He was selected by the Cleveland Browns in the NFL Draft. Following him at number 17 is offensive lineman Alonzo Highsmith, who had an impactful career from 2006 to 2009, earning Freshman All-American honors in his first year.
Rounding out the top 15 are basketball star Alex Boyd-Miller at 15, running back Charvez Foger at 14, quarterback Colin Kaepernick at 13, track and field athlete Ali McKnight at 12, and basketball standout Kirk Snyder at number 11.
These athletes have left a lasting legacy at the University of Nevada, Reno, and have made significant contributions to their respective sports.
