Neenan Archistruction and Northern Nevada HOPES have officially opened The Jerry Smith Community Wellness Center in Reno. This state-of-the-art clinic offers a range of services including primary medical care, behavioral health care, case management, resource navigation, support groups, substance use treatment, an onsite pharmacy, and transportation assistance. The grand opening took place this spring and the clinic has already started seeing patients.
The Jerry Smith Community Wellness Center aims to provide accessible and comprehensive healthcare to residents in the area. One of the key features of the clinic is a first-floor walk-in clinic, which is expected to reduce emergency service calls by offering an alternative to ambulance-based medical care.
Neenan Archistruction, a design-build firm specializing in healthcare facilities, worked closely with Northern Nevada HOPES to bring this vision to life. The partnership between the two organizations highlights a commitment to improving healthcare services in the Reno community.
