Local News: Discover Nevada’s Craft Beer Scene with the Craft Beer Passport

The Nevada Department of Agriculture and the Reno Aces have joined forces to promote the Nevada Craft Beverage Passport. This initiative aims to support local breweries, wineries, and distilleries by encouraging people to visit these establishments and collect stamps in their passports. With 47 participating locations, the passport can be used all over Nevada and offers rewards based on the number of stamps collected. The program has successfully increased interest in craft beverage businesses since its launch in 2022.

Dillon Davidson, Senior Trade Officer at the Nevada Department of Agriculture, explained that the passport was created to combat a decline in interest post-pandemic. Participants who collect 10 stamps can win prizes such as baseball caps and pint glasses, with the first five to complete the passport receiving a basket of made-in-Nevada products.

The Department of Agriculture plans to expand the program by adding more locations each year to provide new experiences for participants. By promoting local craft beverage establishments, the Nevada Craft Beverage Passport serves as a fun and engaging way to support the state’s beverage industry.
