The University of Nevada’s athletics department has once again excelled in the NCAA’s Academic Progress Rate report, with six sports achieving perfect scores. All Nevada sports cleared the NCAA’s multiyear benchmark, with women’s and men’s cross country, golf, tennis, and volleyball teams receiving perfect scores of 1,000. Notably, the women’s tennis team achieved its fourth consecutive perfect score. Other programs such as softball, women’s track & field, women’s basketball, and women’s soccer also scored well.
The Wolf Pack’s average score across all sports programs was 986 for the 2022-23 academic year. This high score qualifies Nevada for additional support through the NCAA Academic Enhancement Fund, which enhances academic support programs at Division I member schools.
The APR scores for 2022-23 for various Nevada athletics programs were also revealed, with notable scores including men’s golf, men’s tennis, and women’s volleyball achieving perfect scores once again. These high scores reflect the dedication of student-athletes and staff towards academic excellence.
The University of Nevada continues to prioritize the academic success of its student-athletes, and these impressive APR scores are a testament to their commitment to excellence both on and off the field. The support provided by the NCAA Academic Enhancement Fund will further enhance academic support programs for Wolf Pack athletes.
