The Nevada City Bridge Replacement Project is in full swing with Golden State Bridge Inc. tasked with replacing the failing bridge over Deer Creek. Additional work, including utility hangers and pedestrian railing, will continue after the bridge opens to traffic to minimize community impacts.

City officials have assured that all necessary measures will be taken to address any environmental issues. Business owners in the area have also been consulted to ensure minimal disruption to their operations and temporary signage will be put up to inform the public that shops are open during construction.
