Nevada Athletics recently announced the appointment of Victoria Hayward as the new head coach for the Nevada Softball team. Hayward, a former standout player at the University of Washington and a member of the Canadian National Team, brings a wealth of experience and expertise to the role.
Hayward’s impressive softball career includes playing in two Women’s College World Series and winning a bronze medal with Team Canada at the Pan American Games. She has also gained valuable coaching experience as an assistant coach at the University of Arizona and as a hitting coach for Team Canada.
In her new role as head coach, Hayward is excited to lead the Nevada Softball team to new heights and continue the program’s tradition of excellence. She brings a strong commitment to player development and a passion for the game that will undoubtedly inspire and motivate her players.
“I am thrilled to join the Nevada Softball program and work with such talented student-athletes,” Hayward said. “I am committed to helping them reach their full potential both on and off the field.”
