California Unveils Groundbreaking Creative Tech and Innovation Hub “Block”

The mayor of Querétaro, Luis Nava, recently presented the Center for Innovation and Creative Technology “Block” to Californian authorities, including Emily Desai from the Government of California. The project impressed Californian authorities as it aims to create an innovation ecosystem in Latin America and offers incubation and entrepreneurship programs.

This presentation took place at the Farnborough Aerospace Fair in London, where Nava is exploring opportunities for collaboration on innovation with the goal of developing technological projects. Nava expressed his commitment to working with the State Government to attract investments and promote talent development in Queretaro.

During the fair, Alejandro Sterling, the Secretary of Sustainable Development for Queretaro, emphasized the importance of seizing development opportunities in places like the Aerospace Fair. Nava also witnessed the signing of an agreement between the Aeronautical University and GE Aerospace as part of the UDC University Development Center Project.

This project aims to create a collaborative space for UNAQ students to work effectively with GE Aerospace from the school, eliminating the need to move to the company for internships. The initiatives presented by Nava and the developments at the Aerospace Fair demonstrate the city’s commitment to innovation and collaboration in the technological field, with a focus on creating a dynamic ecosystem for entrepreneurship and talent development.
